Expressions of love

What does Love really look like? How can we recognize it? And what is true Love?

I have a deep longing to be able to trust, with my whole heart, in Life’s Open Arms — to surrender without fear or doubt, in a trust so powerful and all-encompassing that it overcomes everything within me.

I see this kind of state in children — and I truly envy them!

It is such a richness to be able to trust in Love — to believe it will never fail you and that it is everywhere. Imagine living in that kind of relationship with Life, in a constant dance and joyful togetherness?

I think it’s difficult to truly understand the nature of Love, because it is unfamiliar to us — and because we often have a narrow idea of what it is. Maybe everything we encounter in life is actually a form of Love — we just don’t recognize it? Maybe that’s the issue: we reject Love because it appears in a form we judge as bad or wrong?

Approaching Love and stepping into it is an art — but it’s absolutely worth the effort. Nothing compares to this journey, where I slowly discover more and more of its wondrous mystery and kindness.

I want to keep an eye out for its shape and language in every moment of my life — and embrace it when it knocks on my door, whether in quiet whispers or with loud, thunderous knocks.
